Panda, the brave explorer teams up with many other sea animals to embark on a deep-sea quest to help their friends. The battle in the story represents the global social unrest during the pandemic. The author believes that a miracle is possible during these challenging times.
In contrast with Davis first story The Spooky Castle which he created at the age of 5, many more characters appear in Deep Sea Quest. These characters, along with their adventure are symbolic of children’s desire to play with their friends again and to help each other. The young author possesses a genuine belief that collective effort can overcome any challenge, no matter how big.
