RACKHAM, Arthur. A band of workmen, who were sawing down a toadstool, rushed away, leaving their tools behind them. Original framed color plate from the first edition of Peter Pan in Kensington Garden, published by Hodder & Stoughton, 1906 and appearing opposite page 30 in that edition. Image measures 7 x 4 in a 10 x 8 wood frame.

A wonderful image of a group of magical creatures fleeing and leaving behind their tools and possessions. This enchanting image was painted in watercolor and ink by noted British artist Arthur Rackham.
